Here in the Transfer Tavern, there's a lot of fans that like our monthly tradition of having a lock-in, whacking on the games console and having a boozy FIFA 16 tournament.
It seems the trend is similar at Liverpool, minus the choice of beverages of course, as EA Sports' latest video shows Reds stars Jordan Henderson, Nathaniel Clyne, Jose Enrique and Alberto Moreno go head-to-head.
A two-on-two battle, England v Spain, gave us an idea to do similar for our next tournament- and the video of Liverpool's match-up shows the Premier League stars are better than the majority of our punters.
Obviously, Jordan Henderson has the trump card no matter what the result as his face is plastered across UK copies of FIFA 16- so he really doesn't have to try hard to impress on the console itself!http://www.gmpacks.com/

Brings New Content, Stability Improvements‘FIFA 16’ PS4, PC, Xbox One 1.03 Update Released,
FIFA Ultimate Team has also seen a few bug fixes with the Patch 3. Compare Price has been improved when using consumable items. Issues involving Goalkeeper as default for Player Roles, mismatched images of balls in settings, Concept Squad displayed as playable squad and opponent’s use of historical kits when in Play a Friend’s Squad have all been resolved. Finally, the default value in Buy Now option is now updated to the max value for items on sale on the Transfer Market.
The new content comes in the form of star heads for some of the players, particularly those who hail from newly promoted Barclays Premier League teams for the season. There are also new third kits for Barcelona, Roma and Inter Milan.
EA has also been listening to community feedback regarding issues in “FIFA 16.” The patch features some fixes that fans have identified, as detailed over at the EA support page.
The third patch for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of “FIFA 16” has been released. It brings some stability improvements and, more importantly, some new content for avid players.
“FIFA 16” will now have better online matchmaking, correctly timed team celebrations and correct flags in FIFA Pro Clubs. There are also now fixes for glitches with FIFA Online Seasons record exploits, resets for Pro Club accomplishments and unsaved screen size changes on the PS4.
Also it’s the last call for the Team of the Week for “FIFA 16” Ultimate Team. There is still one day to go to challenge the Team of the Week until Nov. 11. As usual, this is the segment wherein the FIFA Ultimate Team gathers all of the best players around so that players can challenge them in the mode, as stated in the EA Sports page.
The starting 11 players include Samir Handanovic, Luciano Fabian Monzon, Maicon, Laurent Koscielny, Arouna Kone, Granit Xhaka, Sergi Roberto, Riyad Mahrez, Marco Reus, Coutinho and Arkadiusz Milik. There are 12 reserves and five extra players to challenge. Team of the Week items can be obtained with FIFA Ultimate Team Packs, though they are randomly placed in packs.

FIFA 16 Player Ratings of Barcelona and Real Madrid Revealed; LeBron James Supports Henderson for Game's Regional Cover
EA Sports recently revealed that footballing superstar Lionel Messi will be on the cover of the upcoming FIFA 16. The game will also include his signature move, 'No Touch Dribbling'.
Although FIFA 16 is set to roll out in September 2015, the game's alpha version has revealed early player ratings of Barcelona and Real Madrid, thanks to UFut16 (via Attack of the Fanboy). However, it might not reflect the final version of the game.www.gmusd.com
Below are the player ratings in FIFA 16 alpha version:
It must be noted that these ratings are only pointers to who EA Sports thinks are better players. So, we see that Messi and Ronaldo have the highest scores.
Although we know that Messi will be the face of FIFA 16 covers globally, the face for the regional cover has not been decided. NBA superstar LeBron James has voted for Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson.
For a campaign to vote for UK's regional FIFA 16 cover from the list of four potential athletes, Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has received support from NBA superstar LeBron James.
Henderson is one of the athletes in the list that includes Sergio Aguero, Thibaut Courtois and Harry Kane. The voting is over now.
EA Sports had earlier released a video and posted about a new dribble control system feature, No Touch Dribbling', which will be part of the game.
In order to trigger this feature, players will have to hold the L1/LB button on the controller. This will lead to players stepping aside to create space. Now, using the left analog in various angles, this will result in tricking the defender if it is timed correctly.
It also stated that players can perform advanced moved by pressing and holding R2/RT button. Though all players will be able to perform this skill with practice, it will reflect on the player's dribbling rating and skill move star rating.

Did EA Legitimately Address the FIFA 15 Price Range Update?
The FIFA 15 Price Range update introduced by EA has received a lot of backlash over the past couple of weeks. The franchise holds to the fact that coin sellers had introduced an unfair gaming environment in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. The criticism has been ongoing as gamers frustration continue to be heard over social media.
The most prominent expression of FUT gamers is the #RIPFUT hashtag, signifying "Rest in peace FIFA Ultimate Team."
Here's what EA had to say...
The changes consisted of a new price ranges on all players in FUT, which means every player can only be sold for a price with in a specific range, and made accessing the transfer market via the webpage or companion app impossible, all in a bid to stop illegitimate coin sellers and farmers who, EA claimed, were "harming your experience" as they inflated the market by flooding the economy with fraudulent in-game currency. This led to the rise in cost of players, making the highest rated players hard to attain.
Putting price restrictions on the footballers also makes it quite difficult for coins to be bought by the players in the most traditional and easiest way, as a lowly rated card can no longer be purchased for an unrealistically high amount of coins.
These changes have been met with brunt criticism from players, with many saying that it has changed the core Ultimate Experience and think that the move it little more than EA penny grabbing.
But EA have defended their decision in a recent blog post, saying they want the game to be fair and fun for every player.
They said:
"Since implementing these changes, we're seeing positive signs of restoring balance to the FUT economy and mitigating some of the negative effects of exploitation within the game."
However, mechanical problems have arisen from the price ranges too, as claims have been made that some players have been priced out of the market, as they're unsellable and unattainable.
EA are combating this by constantly adjusting the price ranges of players and said that:
"Since the introduction of Price Ranges, we've already made more than 650 adjustments to player pricing, with a focus on the highest value players available in the FUT economy. The introduction of Price Ranges has helped restrict illegitimate coin transfers on the FUT Transfer Market, and balance player item prices so they reflect the current marketplace, but finding that right balance will take some time-we have a team dedicated to finding that balance."
Most see EA's efforts as a way to further monopolize the market for soccer gaming. People consider it pure greed.

Blizzard clean up World of Warcraft bots with more than 100,000 six-month bans
Blizzard have laid down the law in their biggest MMO, World of Warcraft, by issuing more than 100,000 six-month bans to players found to be botting. It appears that players that used the notorious “Honorbuddy” bot to mindless farm honor in PVP have been hit hardest, resulting in a storm of begging on the game’s official forums. But Blizzard are having none of it.
“Cheating of any form will not be tolerated.” stated Blizzard. “We’re committed to providing an equal and fair playing field for everyone in World of Warcraft, and will continue to take action against those found in violation of our Terms of Use.”
